ANNUAL CEMETERY CLEANUP
PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER 27

    The New Mexico Jewish Historical Society and the Congregation Montefiore Cemetery Association will hold the Annual Cemetery Cleanup at Montefiore Cemetery in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 27, from about 10 am until early afternoon.
     Families are invited to join in for fun and work. This event has proved to be not only enjoyable for everyone, but reinforces a Jewish identity with the past and a sense of community.
     As in the past, lunch and drinks will be furnished by the Las Vegas Cemetery Committee.
     Those wishing to join a caravan should be at the Temple Beth Shalom parking lot (in Santa Fe) by 8:45 am.
     Donít forget to bring gardening tools, such as rakes, hoes, shovels and clippers.
